Absolute Audio Vision is proud to have been appointed by Smart IT as the distributor to the audio specialist store channel for the new OXX Digital DAB+ Radios.
Whilst OXX digital is a new entrant to the DAB+ market in Australia, it has been very successful in Europe.
It features DAB+, FM, Internet Radio and Audio Streaming. You can set it up for Internet radio and Audio Streaming via WiFi or Ethernet.
The Classic DAB+ has Scandinavian styling and is very easy to use. Smart IT is offering a 2 year warranty and a 1300 customer support line.
The $299 SRP is very keen and will create a stir for such a well featured quality DAB+ model.
White will be shipping into stores early September with Black available in October.

Arcam announces new state of the art AV receiver!
ARCAM has announced a new AV Receiver will be available in Australia Mid December 2008. The ARCAM AVR600 will feature a completely new design both inside and out. It is part of the FMJ series from ARCAM and features the familiar FMJ design ques. Internally it has all the latest technologies including high definition surround sound formats from DTS and Dolby Laboratories.
5 HDMI inputs and 2 HDMI outputs along with Component and S-video inputs mean the AVR600 can be the entertainment hub for complex and simple home theatre set ups. With 120 watts x 7 channels there is plenty of power on tap to perform at high levels for music and movies.
But it’s the quality of sound that separates the ARCAM AVR600 from the competition. The AVR600 is designed with the music lover in mind and will amaze the most critical of listeners with the quality of sound reproduction. The sixth and seventh channels can also be reassigned to the front left and right channels to allow bi-amp mode on suitable high end speakers.
We believe the AVR600 will be the “bench mark” receiver in many specialist AV stores across Australia.

Arcam FMJ T32 AM/FM/DAB+ tuner
A new ARCAM tuner will be released this month that will be available with DAB+ for the first time.
The ARCAM T32 will be one of the first DAB+ tuners available in Australia and will benefit from the roll out of DAB+ radio broadcast format throughout this year. The ARCAM T32 is available in two forms, an AM/FM model and AM/FM/ DAB+/ DAB. At an RRP of $1598 for AM/FM and $1898 for AM/FM/DAB+/ DAB model it is clearly aimed at high end users however the performance offered by these tuners is exceptional.

Arcam - 3 new Stereo Amplifiers
The A18, A28 and A38 models will be available in Australia from Mid June 2008. They replace the existing A70, A90 and A32 integrated amplifiers. All new models are all from the FMJ range made in the Arcam factory in Cambridge UK. All have a five (5) year warranty. |

The CD17 and CD37 models will be available in Australia from Mid June 2008. The CD37 is SACD 2 channel capable. They replace the existing CD73, CD192 and CD36 models. All new models are all from the FMJ range and have a five (5) year warranty (2 years on laser optics and motors). They are the perfect match to the recently released A18, A28 and A38 amplifiers. |
